Yvonne M. (Jackson) Smith beloved matriarch of our family passed at the age of 91 on Thurs. Aug. 5, 2021.  She was born on Oct. 19, 1929 in Niagara Falls, NY, only child of Chester P. & Gladys (Tidd) Jackson.  She met Harry S. Smith, her husband of 69 years in Wells Bridge, NY and married in 1952.  They raised two children:  Yvette E. (Smith) Trozzi (Timothy) of Stafford, VA and Francis R. Smith (Tonia) of Sidney, NY.  She is also survived by two grandchildren:  Julia M. Smith (Harry Brannigan) of Mt. Vision, NY and Brian J. Smith (Amber Johnson) of Bainbridge, NY, two sisters-in-law, Barbara Baldwin of Norwich, NY and Etta Smith of Sidney, NY and close friend, Marjorie Crawford of Oneonta, NY.  She retired from Amphenol in 1989 after a long career and then traveled with her husband to every state in the continental US at least once.  She was known for her love of family and friends, her friendly smile and her baking.  She made the best brownies and pies.  She also made exceptional fried chicken. 

Rest in peace wife, mother and friend.  You will be sorely missed and never forgotten.  We love you.
