Unadilla:  William Albert Swart, Owner of Swart’s Outboard passed away on Fri. Jan. 23, 2015 at the age of 96 of natural causes.  Mr. Swart bas born in Norfolk, VA on Sept. 26, 1918, retired from Bendix Corp. in 1984 and continued to run Swart’s Outboard until Nov. of 2014.  He was a founding member of the Sidney Boat Club for 60 years, loved racing at 5 Mile Point Speedway, hunting in the Adirondacks, and fishing Oneida Lake was what he enjoyed in most of his downtime.   He is survived by his wife of 75 years, Kathleen, daughter & son-in-law, Sharleen & William Hromada, of SC, his grandchildren, Jonathan & Cara Swart of Mass., Amelia & William Davitt of NY, Jeremy & Carrie Hromada, of SC, daughter-in-law, Maralys Swart, NY and great grandchildren, Wyatt, Oliver, Megan & Kelsey.  He was predeceased by his son, Edward Swart, sister, Shirley Emond, brother-in-law, Stanley Emond and son-in-law, Allan Nabinger.

Graveside Services will be held in the spring in Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Unadilla.
