Vivian Viola (Niemann) Ray, 83 of Unadilla died Tues. morning June 10, 2025 at her home.  She was born on Sept. 15, 1941 in Elmira, NY to Louis W. & Vivian V. (Morse) Niemann.  She married Leon J. Ray on Sept. 18, 1959 in Morris, NY. 

She is survived by her husband of 65 years. Leon J. Ray, 5 children and their families, Rodney “Rod”& Diane Ray, FL, Ronald “Chuck” Ray, Unadilla, Robert “Panzy” & April Ray, Bainbridge, Russell “Rusty” Ray, Unadilla, Renee “Sissy” Gill, Oxford, 19 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and also several nieces, nephews and other family.

She was former owner of the Bainbridge Diner and worked for 17 years at the Unadilla Diner.

She enjoyed her time with her lunch buddies who she graduated with and was an avid bingo player.  She enjoyed all her time with her family.

The family will receive friends at the Westcott-Madden Funeral Home 123 Main Street Unadilla on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.  Private burial will be in Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Unadilla.  Online condolences may be made at:   www.wmaddenfh.com.
