Susan E. Butler, 79 of Unadilla passed away Thurs. evening March 13, 2025 surrounded by her family.

She was born Dec. 10, 1945 in Sidney to Stephen & Vivian (Grant) Quimby.  She married Sheldon L. Butler on June 19, 1965 in Unadilla Friends Church at Rogers Hollow.

She was a Family Care Provider improving the quality of life for countless individuals with development disabilities with her husband for over 30 years.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Sheldon, 4 children, David & Lisa Butler, Greene, Michael & Kathy Butler, Unadilla, Matthew Butler & Angela Fiato, Greene, Holli & Kris Fish, Endicott, 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, sister, Barbara Fairchild, Unadilla, 2 brothers & sister-in-law, Steve Quimby, Unadilla, Donald & Rhea Quimby, New Mexico, sister-in-law, Darlene Murr, and also several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be held at the Unadilla Friends Church on Sat. May 3, 2025 at 11 a.m..  Burial will follow in Rogers Hollow Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Unadilla Friends Church POB 232 Unadilla, NY 13849.  The family would also like to thank A.O. Fox Nursing Home and their incredible staff for the care they provided.
