Stephanie Jean Bresee Valk, 47, of Oneonta, NY, passed away on Wed. August 3, 2022, with her family by her side.  She was born to the late Rick Bresee and Jill Brown, December 8, 1974, in Sidney, New York. Stephanie graduated from Unatego High School in 1993 and received her LPN license.

Stephanie is survived by her six children: Izabella Corbett, of Sidney; Jude Valk, Luka Valk, Kooper Valk, Holden Valk and Harper Valk, of Oneonta.  She is also survived by two grandchildren: Jase and Aria Gould, of Sidney.

Stephanie was a beautiful soul with a big heart.  As a nurse, she was compassionate and would always go above and beyond to help her patients.  Stephanie also worked at Unatego High School as a teaching assistant and OFO on the board of homelessness. Her children fondly remember her cooking, especially the most amazing french toast casserole. They will always hold the memories of Stephanie singing and dancing to get them to laugh, close to their heart. Stephanie loved to crochet, sew, quilt, paint and sculpt.  Her creative spirit will live on in her children forever.
