Ruth Ann Crawford

 Ruth Ann Crawford was the first baby born in the Town of Unadilla in 1948 on January 25.  If you are reading this, she has left this world and has gone to her heavenly home to be with her savior-Jesus Christ on Mon. April 10, 2023.  She was predeceased by her loving parents, Glen & Erma (Youngs) Crawford, 2 brothers, Floyd & Philip Crawford.  Survived by a brother, Raie (Rose) Crawford and also many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She attended the Unadilla Elementary School and graduated from the Unatego High School in 1966 and from Practical Bible Training School in 1969.  Ruth Ann taught preschool and did day care at the Christian Day School in Fall River, Mass. from 1969 to 1990.  She moved back to Unadilla in June of 1990 and taught at the Unadilla Headstart for 15 years.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sidney.

She will be buried in the Union Church Cemetery, East Sidney in the family plot.  The family will receive friends at the Westcott-Madden Funeral Home 123 Main Street Unadilla on Mon. from 4 to 6 p.m.  Online condolences may be made at:   www.wmaddenfh.com.  If you wish to do something in her memory, she asks you to love your precious children.
