Robert J. Strain, 71 of Unadilla passed away Friday April 8, 2022 at his home.  He was born on April 5, 1951 in Sidney, NY.  He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Gerry Strain, Unadilla, daughter, Heather & Daniel Faucher, W. Oneonta, Tina & Scott Worden, Franklin, Lisa & Tim Gould, Unadilla, Donnette Russell, Binghamton, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, his mother, Kathleen Strain, Unadilla, 2 sisters, Eileen Hitchcock & Pete Skoglund, Unadilla, Bonnie Bachman, Delhi and also several nieces and nephews and his cat, “Izzy.”  He was predeceased by his brother Charles and father, Charles.

He was a retired employee of Amphenol Corp. In Sidney after 42 years.  He loved singing karaoke, fishing, camping and most importantly spending time with his family.  He also loved “tinkering” with antique radios and small engines.
