Robert L. "Kapp" Kappler, 78 of Unadilla died Sat. morning March 14, 2026 at his home.  He was born on Dec. 15, 1947 in Chicago, IL to William E. & Ellen H. (Aitken) Kappler.  He married the former, Debra A. Ingraham on Oct. 20, 1977 in Fort Laudedale, FL.

He is survived by his wife, Debra, a daughter, Malissa Kappler, FL, a niece, Lori (Tim) Shepardson, Hollywood, FL, brother-in-law, Tim Williams, FL and his favorite companion “Teddy”.

He was a retired employee of Amphenol Corp. in Sidney.  He was an avid woodworker and loved his guns.  He was a former wedding photographer and 2nd degree Black Belt.
