Penny S. Finger
March 9, 1965- November 20, 2020
Penny passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, November 20th. She was born to Paul and Jane Fancher on March 9, 1965. She grew up on the family farm in Decatur with all of her siblings. She graduated from Worcester Central School and from there went on to study nursing. She worked as a nurse for over 35 years. She loved working with people and she touched countless lives and cultivated close friendships over her career as a nurse. She loved doing puzzles and coloring. She was an avid reader. She even had a reading contest with her brother every year to see who could read the most books in a year. (Spoiler alert- she never won) She loved her family fiercely and would do anything for them. Her favorite times were spent with her family laughing and joking for hours. When all of her children were in the house together, were the moments she cherished. She is survived by her loving partner of 25 years, William Howard; her children Nicole Finger, Jonathon Finger and wife Maureen, David Howard, Steven Howard, Megan Howard, Chris Howard and wife Jeneane; her siblings Paul Fancher Jr, Allan Fancher, Dennis Fancher and wife Renee, Tammy Terrell and husband Dennis; her grandchildren Christopher and Olivia Howard and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Jane.
In honor of her wishes, she will be cremated and services will be done at a later date. Online condolences may be made at: www.wmaddenfh.com. Arrangements by the Westcott-Madden Funeral Home 123 Main Street Unadilla. A MADDEN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME.
