To David, Gigi, and Cary -- My deepest sympathy to you and your family on the passing of your dear mother. Her talents and gifts were many and she shared them unselfishly. I remember, in particular, her many kindnesses to my late mother, Mary Russell. We so appreciated all she did for her the years after our father's death. My personal special memory of her was as my roommate on our trip to Italy and Greece with the University of Maryland Chorale. She was a wonderful addition to the choir. I know she kept her love of singing when she moved to Ithaca and became a resident of Kendall. I visited her there and saw how involved she was in that community as she had been in Unadilla. She certainly is being missed by them and by countless others she encountered in her lifetime. I'm sorry I am not able to attend her graveside service, but I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Beth Russell Schultheis

Nancy was a beloved, involved member of First Congregational Church. I knew her best through the weekly Women's Study Group who enjoyed choosing a book about our faith to read and discuss together. Of course, she was well known as a soprano in our excellent church choir, and she continued this right up to the past year when she physically could no longer participate. She always had a smile on her face and exuded her love for everyone she was associated with. She is greatly missed by me and soooo many people at FCC.

Nancy was a dear friend to us in Unadilla. When we moved to Unadilla in 1974, she was very welcoming. She and I had many good times through our church activities, especially choir. She had a beautiful soft soprano voice that she used all her life because of her love of music and the arts. She continued sharing this love when she retired to Kendall and had the sing a longs each week. she was a vital active caring person that I am proud to have counted as a very special friend. She also was very dedicated to her family and very proud of all they accomplished in their lives. George and I send our deepest sympathies.

To all of Nancy's family: I've known Nancy for a number of years through First Congregational Church, so of course have enjoyed her singing in the choir. But for the past handful of years, I have been in the small Shared Journeys group which she so generously hosted on Tuesday mornings every week. We have all so enjoyed her infectious excitement about music and about the arrival of her grandchildren! I will carry with me memories of her enthusiasm, generosity and kindness. I send my deepest sympathies to all of you.

I haven't seen Nancy in many years since she moved to Ithaca but remember her fondly as a vital member of the Unadilla Presbyterian Church and choir. My sincere prayers are with you, her family at this time of your loss.

Margelia , David, & all the rest of the family & best friends...there are no words....except to let you know that I will always remember how kind Nancy was to me (Dolly) as a girl. Gigi was a lovely playmate & sweet all the way through school. You children inherited good genes & values from your dear parents. I knew that Louise Lesh felt very close to Nancy, so I feel additional sadness because of the recent passing of her musical daughter. I'd not realized that Nancy & Tom schooled in my beloved Ithaca. Blessings on you all. Dorothy & Frances Sokol
