Michael E. Sisson, 69, of Delhi, NY passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 1, 2019.  He was the significant other of Bethany Sander.  They shared 25 loving years together.  Born March 11, 1949 in Wellsbridge, NY to Leon E. & Priscilla (Nutter) Sisson.  He graduated from Unatego Central School.  He was formerly employed at Con Edison as a Warehouse Supervisor.  He was a long-time member of the NRA.  He was a lover of all things Elvis, muscle cars, and an avid film buff.  He enjoyed spending time taking care of his family, having theological debates, and the occasional cigar.  He will be remembered for his warm hugs, his long-held beliefs, and his independent thinking.

He is survived by his significant other, Bethany Sander, and their daughter, Michaela; his former spouse, Mary Johnson, and their children, Todd (Becky) and Clarissa (Scott) and his nine grandchildren and great grandson; also, his siblings, Babette and Brett Sisson, their mother, Betty, and their families; in addition, his Uncle Lowell Nutter and his family, and his Aunt Jeannette Higley and her family; as well as several sister’s in law that were very fond of him such as Marie Sebastain; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial Services will be held at the Wells Bridge Baptist Church 7 Church Street on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019 at 1 p.m.  Elder Jonathan Caruana will officiate.  Burial will be in Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Unadilla at the convenience of the family.  The family will receive friends at the Wells Bridge Baptist Church on Saturday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. prior to service.  Memorial Contributions may be made to:  Bloomville Fire Department 243 Scotch Hill Rd.
