Millard Robert Thomson

Of Unadilla

Millard Robert Thomson of Unadilla passed away on Tues. Nov. 17, 2015.  He was the son of Marshall & Dorothy (Littlejohn) Thomson.  Millard attended schools in Walton and graduated with the class of 1941 from Walton High School.  He then attended Wentworth Institute in Boston, Mass. Graduating in 1943.  He proudly served his country during WW II in the 8th Air Force as a tail gunner on a B24.  He was stationed at Bungae, England flying missions over Germany.  Upon returning home Tommy attended Lehigh University graduating with the class of 1949 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.  He was a longtime employee of Bendix-Amphenol Corp. in Sidney.  Millard is survived by his wife of 66 years, Agnes (Herbert) Thomson, two daughters, Janet Wilson of Ft. Myers, FL and Carol Zurhellen and son-in-law, Edward Zurhellen of South Norwalk, CT, and one granddaughter, April Crandall of Keller, Texas.  Millard was predeceased by his brother Richard J. Thomson of Walton.

GRAVESIDE SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT THE HAMDEN CEMETERY, HAMDEN, NY ON SAT. JUNE 4, 2016 AT 1:30 P.M.  REV. BERT MOORE WILL OFFICIATE.
