Kathleen "Kathy" Joyce (Conti) Borawa

Kathleen “Kathy” Joyce (Conti) Borawa, 80, of Unadilla, New York, passed away peacefully at her home on April 7, 2025. She was born in Passaic, New Jersey at St. Mary’s Hospital to Joseph & Clara Conti on March 17, 1945. Years following her graduation from Clifton High School and the birth of her two children, she resided in Clifton, New Jersey until moving to Upstate New York in 1981. She was a caregiver for her all of her life and had love for anyone whom she crossed paths with. She had a love for sweet treats & candies, antiques, word searches and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her generous heart will be deeply missed by many but her memory and spirit will be kept alive by her family.

Kathy is predeceased by her parents Joseph and Clara Conti. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Joseph A. Borawa; her sons Joseph Borawa and Jason Borawa; daughter in laws MaryAnn Forte and Jacqueline Borawa; her sisters MaryAnn LaCorte, Joann (Harry) Chulamanis, and Roseann Varick; the lights of her life (grandchildren) Cody, Gabrielle, Jason and Mia, and many nieces & nephews who currently reside in New Jersey.
