June P. Mitchell, 61 of Otego died Sat. evening Dec. 23, 2023 at her home. She was born on July 2, 1962 in Jersey City, NJ to James C. & June R. (Cleofe) McKenna. She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd Mitchell. She worked in Patient Services at Bassett Women's Health.
She is survived by her sister & brother-in-law, Maria McKenna & Thomas Beaujour, NYC, step son, Lloyd Mitchell, Unadilla, step daughter, Laurie Mitchell, NJ, 5 grandchildren, Lloyd Mitchell Jr., Kellie-Jean Mitchell & Anthony Larkin, Donna Mitchell, Dillon Mitchell, Shannon Simpson, 1 great grandchild, Brayden Gaffney, an aunt & uncle, Marylou & James D’Alessio, FL, and several other members of the Mitchell Family and close family friend, Janice Incze.
The family will receive friends at the Westcott-Madden Funeral Home 123 Main Street Unadilla on Sat. Jan. 6, 2024 from 12 Noon to 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Delaware Valley Humane Society 101 E. Main St. Sidney, NY 13838.
