Jennifer M. (Lobdell) Thayer

Jennifer Michelle (Lobdell) Thayer, 45, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 19, 2022. Jen is survived by her husband, Daniel Thayer, her son Andrew Demopoulos and her daughter Sabryn Demopoulos, her parents Billie and Butch Lobdell, her sister Nicole Lobdell and loving niece Jocelyn Dos Santos, her mother-in-law Carol Thayer, sister in-law Ann Silvernail along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Jen was predeceased by her son Christopher Demopoulos Jr, her grandparents, father in-law, brothers in-law, sister in-law and her Aunt Roxanne. Jennifer was born October 29, 1976 in Norwich, New York. She was saved and baptized at a young age at the First Christian Church of Otego. She graduated from Unatego Central School in 1994. She married the love of her life on September 5, 2020. Jennifer was a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and an amazing friend. She brightened any room she walked into with her smile. Jen was a true warrior who had been fighting Liver Disease for over a year. She was a loving, kind-hearted person who was always there when you needed her and a true friend to so many people. Fly high our beautiful angel.

Memorial Services will be held at The River Street Baptist Church 133 River St. Oneonta on Sat. Sept. 24, 2022 at 11 a.m.  The family will receive friends at The River Street Baptist Church on Sat. from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service.  Immediately after the service, there will be a gathering at the Otego Firehouse.
