Jeanette M. Currie, 86 of Wells Bridge passed away on Sat. Sept. 30, 2023 at Wilson Memorial Hospital.  She was born on Sept. 27, 1937 in Unadilla to Dewey & Gladys (DeShaw) Goodrich.  She married Roy K. Currie on Feb. 14, 1957 in Wells Bridge, who predeceased her in 2012.  She was predeceased by 2 daughters, Faith Marie Killmeier and Sheila Rae Currie.

She worked as a School Cafeteria Worker at Unatego Central Schools and retired after 37yrs.  She was a member of Wells Bridge United Methodist Church and now Sand Hill United Methodist Church. For many years she was an avid bowler. She was one of the founding members and a life member of the Wells Bridge Fire Dept. Auxiliary. Jeanette also loved camping and traveling in general.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Tammy & Tom Lindsay, Port Crane, Jackie & Rick Geertgens, Poughkeepsie, Several grandchildren, great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. A sister, Beatrice Darlin, FL, a brother & sister-in-law, Bill & Betsey Goodrich and also several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held in Sand Hill Cemetery on Sat. Oct. 21, 2023 at 11 a.m. Light refreshments to follow at the Sand Hill Community House. Rev.
