We were deeply saddened to hear of Georgia's passing.   We have many, many fond memories of both Georgia and Floyd that go back many years.  When our children were young,  Georgia would come to our home to care for them... but also did so much more.   She was not just a babysitter,  she was part of our family.  Georgia would bake cookies,  help with household tasks,  and would even have a hot meal ready when I got home so I didn't have to cook.   She would make enough to share with both our family and hers... so it wasn't just a job,  it was a partnership.

As the years go by,  we look back and think about the people that have touched our lives and our hearts.   Georgia was a special woman and we thank God for having allowed us to share in her life.    We send her family our deepest sympathies and hope that your fond memories will also help you through this difficult time.    God Bless you all.

Georgia was a very special person to us.  We are so priviledge to know her, spent time with her here in the Bay Area.  She helped so many of my friends and she will be greatly missed.  On the positive note, I am glad she is with her Floyd and sons.  We love you Georgia, may you rest in His eternal peace.

Ballooning over Sonoma, hiking in Yosemite, traversing a rope bridge in Ireland, taking a pilgrimage to St. Joseph's in Toronto or taking an opera in San Francisco.  These were just a few of the adventures we shared with Georgia.  She's a remarkable woman.  We will miss her so much.

Even though we only met a handful of times, I still considered Georgia to be a dear friend. She was always willing to help out and it was clear that she cared deeply about many people.  She helped me understand my place in this universe -- maybe more than anyone else -- and I will always be grateful to her for that.

My best wishes go to all those friends and family members who will miss her presence.

My deepest sympathy to the Hughes family at the loss of this beautiful woman! Her friendship over the past 30 years has been a treasure to me. I will miss talking with her and laughing with her. She was always there for me ~~~ rather I needed a kick in the pants or a hug! This is devastating news to me.  I pray that your fondest memories of her will comfort you in your sorrow!  RIP my dear friend!
