Gary Byron “Barney”  Holcomb of Oneonta, NY sadly left us on May 30th 2023 at the age of 71. He was born to the late Charles and Doris Holcomb on March 3th 1952.

Gary was an avid fan of NASCAR and local dirt track racing, he especially enjoyed races at Afton Motor Speedway. Gary’s vibrant personality and charm left all nurses unable to resist his charm which often included a friendly conversation with a lot of laughs. Above all Gary loved being with his family and attending family gatherings. His infectious laugh and “yeah yeah” will truly be missed.

Gary’s memory lives on through his family, sisters Linda Lebourveau of Oneonta, Kathy (Mitchel) Chapin of Oneida, brothers Donald Holcomb of Otego and Homer Holcomb of Sidney, NY, sister in-law Doris Holcomb of Otego, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Gary was preceded by his parents Charles and Doris Holcomb and brothers Charles Holcomb and Richard Holcomb and sister-in-law, Charlan "Charlie" Holcomb.
