Floyd H. Decker, 81 of Franklin died Sat. April 2, 2016 at his home. He was predeceased by his wife, Carol Ann Decker. He was born on Aug. 15, 1934 in Gulf Summitt, NY to Oscar and Charlotte (Geer) Decker. He is survived by four sons and daughters-in-laws, Mark and Karen Decker, Franklin, Kenneth and Gloria Decker, Franklin, Eugene and Deborah Decker, Wells Bridge, William and Robin Decker, Sidney, daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Joseph Fairbairn, Franklin, 14 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.  He was Founder of Quality Hardwoods, Inc., a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Unadilla, and the Franklin Fire Dept.  “Lived larger than life and has left many memories with every handshake or kiss on the cheek!”

Memorial Services and A Celebration of His Life will be held at the Franklin Fire Dept. on Sun. April 10, 2016 from 1 to 4 p.m.  Rev. Paul Hamilton will officiate.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Catskill Area Hospice 1 Birchwood Drive Oneonta, NY 13820 or United Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund at First Presbyterian Church POB Z Unadilla, NY 13849 or Franklin Fire Dept.
