Derry G. Sramek, 65 of Unadilla died Thurs. Jan. 18, 2024 at Mercy House in Endicott.  He was born on Apr. 10, 1958 to Michael & Carole (Jewell) Sramek in Cold Spring, NY.  He married Sandra Jennings on May 14, 1983 in Unadilla.  He was a retired proud machinist from Amphenol Corp. in Sidney after 30 years.  He was a member of the Unadilla Fire Dept. and member and trustee at First United Methodist Church of Unadilla.  He was a member of the Unadilla Rod and Gun Club.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sandra Sramek, 3 children, Dustin & Bernadette Sramek, Elmira, Bradley & Morgan Sramek, Hubbardsville, Tamara Sramek & Brandon Walters, Unadilla, 4 grandchildren, Sophie, Declan, Kieran, Elena, 3 brothers & sister-in-law, Stephen & Mei Vitek, Sidney, Michael Sramek, Sebring, FL, William Sramek, Oneonta, a sister & brother-in-law, Michelle & Larry Phoenix, Trout Creek and also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Unadilla on Tues. at 11 a.m.  Rev. Paul Winkleman will officiate.  Burial will be in Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Unadilla at a later date.  The family will receive friends at the Westcott-Madden Funeral Home 123 Main Street Unadilla on Mon. from 4 to 6 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mercy House 212 N.
