Daniel P. Fallon, 69 of Unadilla went home to be with his Lord  Sunday morning May 17, 2026 at A.O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta.  He was born on Sept. 24, 1956 in Bayshore, Long Island to Kenneth J. & Jacqueline (Herron) Fallon. Daniel was a man of faith, who loved to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It was said by many that he was a wonderful and helping neighbor. Daniel loved driving and did most of his life for various companies. Daniel also had his own truck (Big Red) that was his baby. Daniel loved and played music on various instruments like: keyboard, guitar, accordion, and bass. Dan played with various groups and enjoyed jamming half the night. Dan also wrote a number of songs that focused  on believers looking forward to the Lord’s return. Dan will be remembered for his sense of humor and willingness to help anyone. His most recent job with Bassett transporting cancer patients for 10 years was what he considered to be his ministry. It was often reported that he would provide comfort and encouragement to those he transported like they were his own family. Daniel was recognized as an employee who went above and beyond his daily duties. Dan was greatly loved by all and will be missed greatly. Only heaven will reveal the impact Dan made on this earth as he served his Lord.

Dan’s hope can be expressed in Psalm 116:15 “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints”      

He is survived by his children Stacy and Audi of Gulford, Amy and Chad of West Laurens, and Shannon and Jim of Greene. He also has a number of grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He is survived by his siblings Ken and Sue Fallon of Sherburne, Peggy Ryan of Norwich, Timmy Fallon of New Berlin, Patrick and Pam of Sherburne, and Katie Schermerhorn of Norwich NY. He was predeceased by his brother Dennis and Carol Fallon of Virginia.

Memorial Services will be held at the Westcott-Madden Funeral Home 123 Main Street Unadilla on Sat. May 30, 2026 at 11 a.m.  Pastor Kenneth Fallon, his brother will officiate.  The family will receive friends at the Westcott-Madden Funeral Home on Sat. May 30 from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to service.
