C. Grace Morley

Of Sidney

C. Grace Morley, 98 of Sidney passed away on Tues. July 28, 2015 at Willow Point Nursing Home.  She was born on Jan. 16, 1917 in Doraville, NY to Alton F. & Flora (Page) DeWitt.  She married Clifford Brewster in 1935 and then Jim Morley in 1944, who passed in 1978.   She was predeceased by her son, Richard Lee Brewster, sisters, Irene Hubbard Carpenter, Wanda Carson & Thelma Smith.  She is survived by a son, Robert Brewster, St. Paul, MN, a daughter, Irene Salamon, Laurens, NY, 2 granddaughters, 3 grandsons, several great grandchildren and also several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.  She worked at Scintilla during World War II, then went back in 1951 and worked until 1978, when she retired from Bendix Corp. 

Funeral Services will be held at the Westcott-Madden Funeral Home 123 Main Street Unadilla on Mon. at 12 Noon.  Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Gilbertsville.  The family will receive friends at the Westcott-Madden Funeral Home on Mon. from 11 a.m. to 12 Noon prior to service.  Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.  On-line condolences may be made at:   www.wmaddenfh.com.
