"Sonny" and my family have a long history, starting when he drove the school bus that picked us up in Arabia in the 50s.  My brother was determined not to get on the bus and Carlton had to put up with a lot.  We are all better for knowing him.  My condolences.

Carl, you were one of a kind, one in a million. The world was a much brighter place having you in it. Your kindness and generosity have been an inspiration to me and I will remember your smile, your laughter, and your spirit as long as I live. Peace.

Sonny was a wonderful man with an infectious laugh.  Many years ago, he stopped to help me get my car started only to discover I had it in gear.  I can still hear him laughing as he climbed back into his school bus and drove off.  Our condolences to his family.  He sill be missed.
