Betty A. Geertgens, 81 of Wells Bridge passed away on Sun. April 15, 2018 at Chestnut Park Nursing Facility in Oneonta.  She was born on June 19, 1936 in Otego to Henry & Helen (Couse) Beach.   She retired from Bendix Corp. after 31 years.

She is survived by 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Rick & Jackie Geertgens, Poughkeepsie, Tim & Courtney Geertgens, Chaffee, NY, 7 grandchildren, Christopher, Alyssa, & Trevor, Irmaris, Erica, Jacob & Kimberly, 3 great grandchildren, Haley, Evan & Jackson, brother, Charles Beach, Sidney and also nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a sister, Margaret Killmeier.

Memorial Services will be held at the Wells Bridge Baptist Church on Sat. April 21, 2018 at 2 p.m.   Pastor David Steensma will officiate.  Online condolences may be made at:   www.wmaddenfh.com.  Arrangements by the Westcott-Madden Funeral Home 123 Main Street Unadilla.
