Betty J. DeForest, 74 of Unadilla passed away Fri. Aug. 14, 2020 at Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown.  She was born on Oct. 24, 1945 in Clifton Springs, NY to Willis P. & Gladys (Lehman) Pfromer.  She married Bernard A. DeForest on April 10, 1976 in Macedon, NY, who predeceased her.  She was a former Leader with the Girl Scouts and member of the Auxiliary of Unadilla Fire Dept.

She is survived by her 3 sons, David Dealph, IN, Bernard A. DeForest II, Unadilla, Brent W. DeForest, Unadilla,  3 grandchildren, Lorelei, Lainey & Brent II, 2 sisters, Barbara Putnam, Macedon, NY, Joanne Thienel, Vernon, NJ, brother, Donald Pfromer, Walworth, NY and also several nieces and nephews.
