Ann (Redfield) Yerton, 83, also known as Annabelle of Norwich, New York, passed this life to eternal life on Sat. August 21, 2021. Ann was born January 17, 1938, in Norwich, New York, to the late Roy and Harriett Redfield. Ann has a twin, Nancy, where they grew up on Henry Street and enjoyed a family camp on Chenango Lake in Norwich, New York. Ann and Nancy graduated from Norwich High School in 1956. Ann married Robert Yerton in 1959 and had four sons. Ann was a devoted mother and avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. You could always find Ann sporting their clothing. Ann had a lifetime event where her sons sent her on a Pittsburgh Steelers cruise for her 75th birthday.  Ann loved cheering on her sons when they played football, basketball, hockey, and wrestling. Ann worked at Simmonds Precision for 38 years and then worked at Nina's Pizzeria until recently. Ann was a spiritual woman who attended Assembly of God in Norwich, NY. Ann's favorite things to do were bingo, and cruising with her son Lon. Ann had a special love for Christmas and spent the holidays with family and her three grandchildren.  Ann is survived by her son Lance Yerton and daughter-in law, Donna Yerton, of Sherburne; son, Linc Yerton of Sherburne; son Lon Yerton of Norwich; son Lee Yerton and soon to be daughter-in-law, Dee Fuller Bigford; twin sister; Nancy; nephews; Brian, Kevin, and Craig; grandchildren; Nikki and Brad Klusman of Oklahoma, Clint Zimmerman of Sherburne, and Dalton Yerton of Sherburne. Due to COVID, there was a private funeral.
