James F. Crawford

James F. Crawford, 79 of Wells Bridge passed away Thurs. evening Dec. 29, 2016 at Valley View Nursing Facility in Norwich.  He was born on Aug. 18, 1937 to Harold & Carrie (Ruling) Crawford in Bennettsville.  He married Marjorie J. Crandell in 1962 in Unadilla and later married Lynda L. Snyder in 1994 in Trout Creek.   He is survived by his wife, Lynda, daughter & son-in-law, Sheila & Danny Jones, Maryland, NY, 4 step children, 3 grandchildren, Myrtle, Drew & Mitchell and other grandchildren, sister, Melvina "Shorty" (Darwin) Taft, Bainbridge, brother, George (Etta) Poker, Unadilla, and also several nieces and nephews.  He was also predeceased by his son, Russell James Crawford in 2011.  He was a retired employee of Amphenol Corp. in Sidney and an Army Veteran.
