Doris E. Pitcher, 90 of Wells Bridge passed away on Thurs. Aug. 3, 2017 at the A.O. Fox Memorial Nursing Home.  She was born on Oct. 18, 1926 in Hancock, NY to the Late William H. & Bessie E. (Frank) Linkroum.  She grew up in Hancock, NY and graduated from Hancock Central School in 1944. She met her high school sweetheart and married Benjamin E. Pitcher of Starlight, PA. on Dec. 14, 1946 in Deposit, NY, who predeceased her.  She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Dean & Diane Pitcher, Wells Bridge, 2 Granddaughters, Pamela Pitcher & Ron Conrow, Patrice & Shawn Clow, 6 Great grandchildren, Julie & Amy Higbie, Jacob Pitcher, Ronny & Lorisa Conrow & Caden Clow, 2 great great grandchildren, Silvia & Grayson Olsen, sister, Polly Davis and also several nieces and nephews.   She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ben, brothers, Willard & Harold Linkroum, sisters, Beatrice Esolen & Lois Niles, brother-in-law, Frank Pitcher.  She was a member of the Otego Presbyterian Church and was a former employee of Otego Agway.
