Beverly F. Moore, 86, a lifelong resident of Unadilla, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2019 at the Norwich Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was born on November 4, 1932 to Arnold and Florence Schofell in Herman, NY. She married Douglas R. Moore on January 21,1946 and was his bride of 73 years.

Beverly was a retired Motel Manager of the Super 8 in Norwich, and an employee of Victory Supermarkets. She and Doug enjoyed their many cross-country trips as they built warm lifetime memories, exploring the west and the south.

Beverly will be remembered as a talented crochet and knitting expert who made numerous doilies, dolls, afghans, and tablecloths for her friends and family. She enjoyed gardening and had a special green thumb when it came to raising violets and other beautiful plants. Beverly always put an extra potato in the pot when someone happened by at dinner time, loved to share stories of her travels with Doug, and in that motherly way, bragged about the achievements of her children.

She is survived by her four daughters and their families, Donna & William Ryan, Avon Lake, OH, Sharon Moore, The Villages, FL, Karen & Bruce Barbour, Richmond Hill, GA, Stephanie & David Young, Hamilton, NY, 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and several beloved nieces and nephews.
