Anton “Tony” Streifeneder, 91 of Schenevus died Mon. morning April 12, 2021 at his home.  He was born on March 23, 1930 in Brooklyn to Anton & Anna Streifeneder.  He married the former, Marion Kinsella on June 7, 1952 in Oneonta, NY.  He was predeceased by his wife, Marion in 1993 and daughter, Marianne Shapley.  He is survived by 3 children and families, Karen & Edward Buckley, Poughkeepsie, Richard & Karen Streifeneder, Red Hook, Cathleen & Thomas Bocchino, Cary, NC, 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, brother-in-law, William Kinsella, Unadilla and also several nieces and nephews.

He was a US Army Veteran of Korean Conflict and was a recipient of the Purple Heart.
