Robert L. Porter, 88 of Oneonta passed away Tues. Dec. 10, 2019 at A.O. Fox Nursing Home. He was born on June 13, 1931 in Gilbertsville to Gerald & Gladys (Johnson) Porter. He married the former Linda Lobdell on Feb. 14, 1992 in Gilbertsville, who survives him. He is survived by his Wife, Linda, 5 children, Valerie Porter, Gilbertsville, Robert (Nancy) Porter, Gilbertsville, Bill (Ivy) Porter, Gilbertsville, Terry Porter, Oneonta, David Porter, Gilbertsville, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother James (Jane) Porter, Mt. Upton, sisters, Shirley Ashley, New Berlin, Barb Ladner, Oneonta, Pat (John) Hunt, S. New Berlin, Betty Calimina, Oneonta and also several nieces and nephews. Bob was a retired Furnace Installer throughout the area. He was predeceased by 2 siblings, William & Gerald “Tony” Porter.
