Hazel V. Sullivan

Of Unadilla

Hazel V. Sullivan, 96 of Unadilla passes away Sat. Sept. 23, 2017 at Chenango Memorial Hospital.  She was born on May 28, 1921 in Oswegatchie, NY to Theodore & Bertha (Stone) Newell.  She first married William Cargill in 1939, who was killed in WW II.  She then married Douglas R. Sullivan, who predeceased her in 1996.  She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Wayne & Ruth Cargill, Parksville, NY, 2 grandsons and spouses, Wayne & Gloria Cargill, Woodbourne, NY, William & Kathy Cargill, Kiamesha Lake, NY,  and 5 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her son, Roger Cargill in 1984.  She was a retired waitress from the Unadilla Diner and Jack’s Diner in Oneonta.

Graveside Services will be held on Wed. Sept. 27, 2017 at 1 p.m. in Oneonta Plains Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to:  Chenango Memorial Hospital Auxiliary 179 N.
