Gordon A. Carr, 64 of Bainbridge died unexpectedly on Tues. March 13, 2018.  He was born Jan. 10, 1954 in Sidney to Chester & Anita (Reynolds) Carr.  He married Ruth A. Gorski on Oct. 10, 1985 in Afton.  He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Ruth A. Carr, Bainbridge, 2 children, Kristen Tofsrud, Candor, Jennifer & Gary Scott, Masonville, 5 grandchildren, Kalebb, Lilly, Dante, Kori, & Allison, 2 great grandchildren, Macen & Kalebb Jr., sisters, Carol Whitehill, Oxford, Jeanette Robertson, Bainbridge, brothers & sisters-in-law, Chester & Kathy Carr, Bainbridge, Walter & Cheryl Carr, Afton, Randy Carr, Canton, OH, and also several nieces and nephews.

He was retired from Town of Bainbridge Highway Dept.  In his free time, he enjoyed, camping, hunting, bluegrass, and tinkering on motors.  He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Ernest Carr.

 

Funeral Services will be held at Westcott-Madden Funeral Home 123 Main Street Unadilla on Friday at 5 p.m.  Burial will be in Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Unadilla at a later date.  The family will receive friends at the Westcott-Madden Funeral Home on Fri. from 3 to 5 p.m. prior to service.  Online condolences may be made at: www.wmaddenfh.com.
