Allison Erika Clune

Of Sidney

Allison Erika Clune went to be with God on Sunday Sept. 18, 2016.  She was born the younger daughter of Albert E. & Deborah E. (Reynolds) Clune on Aug. 31, 1983 in Johnson City, NY.  Ally was a graduate of Sidney Central School, Potsdam State University (B.S.) and Mercy College N.Y.C. (M.S.) in Early Childhood and Special Education.  She was employed by Family Resource Network as a Pre-K, special education teacher at Horace Mann Elementary in Binghamton.  She also worked for G & E Therapies.  Besides her passion for the little ones she taught, her life centered on her nephew and many wonderful friends, who were like family to her.  Ally was a member of the Unadilla Presbyterian Church and as a youth, sang in the church choir, was a girl scout and played Field Hockey for S.C.S.  Ally is survived by her father and his fiancé (Sheryl), her sister, Erin E. Burpoe (Justin), the light of her life, her nephew, Kellen Andrew Burpoe, many cousins, among them, Chris (Lindsey), Kim, Josh (Sarah), Julie (Jim), Kathy, Pam, Kimberly, Steven (Monica), loving aunts, uncles and her cat Samantha.  She was predeceased by a brother, Paul Charles, her mother, her grandparents and uncle, Charles (Butch) Reynolds. 

Callings hours begin at 4 p.m. on Friday Sept. 23, 2016, followed at 7 p.m.ervice at the East Guilford (Rte. 8) Presbyterian Church.  A Celebration of Allison’s Life will be held at the Sidney American Legion Post 183, Union Street at Noon on Sat.
